Our Story

FungiGlow began with a shared fascination for mushrooms.

When Nick and I first met, we were both following a vegan lifestyle and quickly discovered we shared the same obsession: mushrooms. What started as simple curiosity soon grew into something much bigger.

We began exploring forests, learning about different species, cooking with mushrooms and diving deeper into the strange and fascinating world of fungi. Before long, friends began jokingly calling us “the mushroom people”.

And honestly, the name stuck.

The more we learned about fungi, the more we realised how extraordinary they truly are.

Mushrooms exist in a world that many people rarely notice. Beneath forests and fields they form vast networks that quietly connect ecosystems and shape the natural world in ways we are only beginning to understand.

What began as curiosity slowly turned into something we wanted to share with others.

FungiGlow was born from that feeling. A desire to celebrate the beauty, mystery and creativity of the fungal world.

FungiGlow is our way of bringing people along on that journey.
